How Numnah works.

Numnah is a discovery directory for equestrian professionals across East Anglia. We surface listings, verify the information we can, and publish moderated reviews from real riders. Numnah does not endorse, approve or guarantee any instructor — riders should always make their own enquiries before booking.

Profile claiming

Many listings are created by Numnah from publicly available information so that riders can find and recommend instructors from day one. Any instructor can claim their listing through their account. Once approved, only they can edit the profile, manage contact details and respond to enquiries.

What the status labels mean

Unclaimed
Listing exists but the instructor has not yet signed in to manage it. Information shown comes from public sources.
Claimed
The instructor has signed in and taken ownership of the listing. They are responsible for the information shown.
Verified
Identity and basic profile information have been confirmed by Numnah. This is not an endorsement of suitability.
Fully verified
Identity, qualifications and supporting evidence (insurance, DBS where applicable, governing-body certificates) have been reviewed by Numnah. This is not an endorsement of safety or suitability.

Reviews are moderated

Every review is reviewed by a person before going public. We reject:

  • Anonymous reviews — every review is tied to a real rider account.
  • Reviews from people who have not taken a lesson.
  • Reviews paid for, traded, or written by the instructor.
  • Personal attacks unrelated to coaching quality.

What Numnah is not

  • Numnah is not an agency. We do not vet instructors for safety, quality or suitability and we do not recommend specific instructors to specific riders.
  • Verification confirms what we have checked — it is not a quality rating, an approval or a guarantee.
  • Reviews represent the experience of the rider who wrote them. Riders should make their own assessment.

What we never do

  • Sell ranking — instructors cannot pay to appear higher in search results.
  • Share rider contact details with instructors without consent.
  • Publish a review without a verified rider account behind it.
